Theme Installation Guide with WPVivid
1. Introduction
This guide explains how to quickly and completely install your purchased theme using the WPVivid Backup & Migration plugin. With this method, you can install the theme and all its settings to your site with a single click.
2. Prerequisites
- WordPress must be installed and running on your domain
- WPVivid Backup & Migration plugin must be installed (installation steps below)
- The .wpress backup file downloaded after purchase
3. Installing the WPVivid Backup & Migration Plugin
- Log in to your WordPress Admin Panel
- Go to Plugins → Add New
- Search for “WPVivid Backup & Migration”
- Click Install and then Activate
Alternatively, you can download the plugin from the WordPress Plugin Repository and install it manually.
4. Restoring the Theme with WPVivid
- Open the WPVivid Backup & Migration plugin
- Navigate to the Restore tab
- Click the Choose File button and upload the downloaded .wpress file
- Once the upload is complete, click the Restore button
- When the process is finished, your site will exactly match the demo version of the theme
- Log out of WordPress and log back in to check your settings

1. I can’t install the WPVivid Backup & Migration plugin. What should I do?
Make sure your WordPress version is up to date. Alternatively, try installing the plugin manually.
2. I’m getting an error during upload. What could be the reason?
- Check your hosting provider’s file upload limits (we recommend 256MB+ for large backups)
- Go to WPVivid → Advanced Settings and increase the upload limit
3. The upload completed but some images or pages are missing. What should I do?
Go to Settings → Permalinks and click the Save button to refresh the links.
4. My theme is installed but WooCommerce pages aren’t working. What should I do?
If WooCommerce is not installed, go to Plugins → Add New, search for WooCommerce, install and activate it.
5. How can I manually download a WPVivid backup file?
Go to the Backup tab in WPVivid and create a backup manually from there.
